Are Women’s Symptoms for a Heart Attack Different than Men’s?
Hi, I’m Beth McLeod. All February it’s healthy
heart month, and I’m here with Dr. Judith Lin from Henry Ford Hospital. And Dr., when
it comes to heart attacks, are women’s symptoms different than men’s? Yes, women are more
likely to experience different symptoms than men during a heart attack. Instead of a typical
chest pain, women may experience shortness of breath, weakness, unusual fatigue, cold
sweat, and dizziness. To find out more about these symptoms, go to henryford.com/heart.
