Mental Health Tip #1 – Feed Your Mind | headspace


(upbeat music) – I think I felt very
lost and really confused. I wasn’t able to tackle
how this was feeling because I didn’t know how I was feeling. – When things actually
start feeling like a chore, I realize, like, all right, you’re going through a tough time, like, let’s come up with some strategies. – I think it’s about
finding what suits you best, what you can adapt to, because every single person
is different, you know? – For me, it’s all about
self-care, nurturing myself, and spending time with
people who really support me. – And we get so caught up in
the busy-ness that is life, we forget to take step
and then just pause, be yourself, and breathe, and so, just having a break, you know, that really does refresh your mind. – So, sometimes, when
I’m feeling quite low, I’ll just be like, all right, let’s put on a favorite podcast and go water my plants and
even just, have a cup of tea, or sit in front of the
heater and read a book, do the things that I actually really like. Even though they feel like
they’re gonna be hard, as soon I start them, I remind myself why
they’re so important to me. (upbeat music)
